                                                                                              Excellent food - service was superb and staff was so friendly. What a nice dinner experience - everything came out exactly as ordered. Really pretty setting as well. Our waiter, Matthew, was attentive, knowledgeable and very professional.

                                                                                              Made our New Years reservation weeks in advance and was disappointed to be seated in the bar along side two separate couples with dogs on leashes. Whereas we understand limited seating for a party of 2, when you are in an establishment that is not a casual, quick service type you hope to have a different experience. It took our server around 5 minutes to acknowledge us. We ordered 2 glasses of wine that took over 20 minutes to come to the table. Our appetizer came to the table (before our drinks) and was set with no plates. Our server seemed confused as to why we would ask for plates. Our entrees came and were fine. We completely understood items being rushed when it is a busy holiday night. Some minor execution errors on food, but expected with such high demand. We had the ask a manager for another glass of wine each as we were never offered any more. We declined dessert as the bar was becoming increasingly busy and people were gathered next to our table. Our bill was paid in cash, in which we told the server he was set and it was his, he returned to our table with the bill enclosed. We reminded him again that it was his to keep, he acted shocked and thanked us, but when he walked away we opened the bill to double check what he brought back and to our surprise it was empty with only the original ticket in it. This was definitely an interesting experience to say the least. Can’t say I would recommend this restaurant on another holiday evening.

                                                                                              We dined here for NYE dinner. The Perry Hotel is gorgeous but the restaurant is not of the same caliber. Service was spotty and soup arrived lukewarm. Menu is not very inventive. It seems like a more of a casual restaurant inside a luxury hotel.

                                                                                              We really struggled getting a reservation for 5 people last minute in Savannah and when we found this on OpenTable with the same ratings as the Pirate’s House our hopes weren’t high. Let me tell you that ratings are not equal depending on the clientele. We were really impressed by the food, wine, ambiance and service. This is not just some touristy restaurant surviving on mediocre food.
