The Fat Badger restaurant offers an exquisite dining experience in the heart of Harrogate. The restaurant serves superb quality AA rosette food in elegant surroundings.
Dining during Monday - Thursday your table is likely to be allocated into our bar area.
Tables for our bar on weekends and outdoor patio all the time can not be booked in advance and are offered on a first come first served basis.
Dogs are welcome if customers are happy to dine in our outdoor areas.

Food was ok. Having had Sunday lunch here previously I was impressed, unfortunately not so this time. Service poor and slow. A disappointing experience I am sorry to say.

Food was really nice & huge portions. The wine we chose was not really to our liking & staff came across & happily swapped it free of charge - very touching they did this it made our afternoon

Lovely food. Huge Yorkshire puddings. Busy but nice atmosphere. Had to wait a little for one of starters. Staff friendly and attentive

Restaurant is nicely decorated although fairly dark. It was busy and loud when I attended due to Christmas get togethers. Great menu and priced accordingly. Service wasn’t as great as it could have been. It was evident that the staff were struggling with the increase in demand. We were sat for some time before any drinks orders were taken and then there were several issues: server hadn’t written down the order correctly, the manager came to clarify but then we received 2 glasses of one wine and a bottle of the other when we only wanted a glass. Meal was delivered quickly and was very tasty, hot and excellent standard. Bill was incorrect - earlier mistakes had been added on (ie bottle of wine & extra glass) this was swiftly rectified when highlighted. Overall, very good but service let it down considerably.

Lovely restaurant we have eaten here before. Only thing was we had a lovely table by the window but it was cold sitting there a lot of draughty through window. We also had the rice pudding which was delicious last time but this time it was undercooked and cold

Enjoyed our first visit here. Great food,, service and ambience. Perhaps a little more light would be good - diners at the next table were using their phone torches to read the menu.

We loved the far badger , great atmosphere . We have been here a few times during our yearly trip to Harrogate the food as always been excellent but this time i had beef but it was very chewy and fatty but didnt spoil our visit
