   The food a service was excellent. It was our first time going there and it was well worth it.

   The food was great. Probably should train your waitstaff some more. The lady who brought our food to the table looked incredibly confused when she was asking who had the fish. I asked her what kind of fish, and she shrugged and looked disgusted. It was my sea bass. Made me feel a little unsure about whether I wanted to eat it! Also, our waiter was NOT good. Until we ordered, he wouldn’t leave us alone. Once we ordered we couldn’t even get our water glasses refilled. Worst service we’ve had at this restaurant. Made me sad because I usually really love this place.

   Food took forever to come out, portions were tiny (my wife ordered the half order of chicken fried steak and it was about the size of a tennis ball). The ticket was wrong and it was very loud inside even though it wasn't overly crowded. The manager sent out another half order of chicken fried steak after I questioned it (their full order is only softball size, small by Texas standards). KC, the waiter, was exceptional, but he couldn't fix the other problems.

   A lovely enjoyable evening. Good food, excellent service. The smoked Old Fashioned was tasty and theatrical. Booking a table on short notice was easy. The restaurant was busy but not too loud to hold a conversation. We didn't feel cramped and our server was very attentive. We would definitely recommend this location and will be coming again.

   If you haven’t tried American Federal Grill it is well worth it. Food is excellent and also a great place for a happy hour. Top notch drinks.

   The Derby Day experience was fantastic! The mint juleps were better than the one I had at the actual Kentucky Derby. The live band was very good. It was a little loud, but that is expected with a live band. It was a great time in spite of which horse won!

   Ambiance was nice. Rated okay on yelp. Service started out fair, I was impressed how quickly the shrimp appetizer came out, everyone was nice and courteous by go. Shrimp appetizer was pretty good. Service went down hill from there. Server came back and took our order 30 minutes or later. We had been there at least an hour before our mains came out. I ordered the chicken fried steak. My order came out wrong the first time, remake was burnt. I couldn’t finish it. Wife said her stuffed Chicken was pretty good. Should have trusted yelp. Looked like everyone else was there for drinks though.

   We were a group of 8, 4 kids and 4 adults. Had a lovely meal together and the kids enjoyed playing in the garden as well. Everything was perfect! The food was tasking, the atmosphere just right and the service couldn't fault! Thank you!

   The bang bang shrimp, burger egg rolls, chicken wings, Thai shrimp and grits are all good dishes. The strawberry lemon drops on the social hour menu are the best.
