La sera che ci siamo presentati dovevamo mangiare fuori sul terrazzino perché dentro c’era un’evento. Questo pero l’hanno avvisato pochi giorni prima e quindi va bene. Abbiamo deciso venire lostesso perche doveva essere uno dei migliori ristoranti a Charlotte. Il servizio era buono ma purtroppo non posso dire la stessa cosa sul cibo. Non so se era la colpa dell’evento che tra altro non e nemmeno iniziato ma nessuno dei piatti era ad altezza delle ottime recensioni.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was intimate and classy. The servers were quite attentive and helpful. We would recommend this restaurant 10/10 times for a romantic date night out of the house!

Everything was great. My only suggestion is to add more lighting to small corner tables with no sconces above them. It was hard to read the menu with just a tea candle and enjoy seeing my food color & presentation.

We both ordered the ribeye that was on special. The steak absolutely amazing. It also came with potatoes that had a very different texture than I’ve ever had in potatoes. But they were also quite good. We got the escargot as our appetizer, also amazing. We got a dessert too. I can’t remember what it was, but I do remember it was delicious. The service was beyond excellent. I just can’t say enough good things about The Fig Tree! We have reservations to return for our anniversary. Cheers!

We have lived in the area for 3 years and went here Friday for our anniversary. We were amazed with our experience here. First all of the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Our server Fernando was fantastic explaining everything and offering suggestions when we were torn on what to order. Honestly one of the few restaurants where ordering was such a hard decision as everything sounded great. He gave us a brief history on the place as well and we were shocked to learn that their massive wine list is updated weekly. That said we got the burrata appetizer which was a good start as it was lite app. I decided on the Elk chop which I was told is a menu staple. My wife tried sea bass for the first time. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and were so flavorful. We were also surprised at all the sides that come with the meal. For the price these were huge meals that we did not expect. That being said we cleaned our plates. Sadly we didn’t leave enough room for dessert which all sounded so good. All in all it was an amazing experience and in my opinion an exceptional value. We will be back.
