                                                                  We were thankful to get a last minute table for Thanksgiving with a reservation made earlier in the day. We were seated immediately. Host wasn’t very friendly but I attributed it to their busy schedule and working on a holiday. Food arrived rather quickly, but after waiting a bit for our waiter to take our order. Plated nicely. My husband had the crusted flounder over spinach. I had the salmon with sriracha sauce with bok Choi and our daughter had linguini with shrimp scampi. She enjoyed her dish. We weren’t impressed with others. Let’s just say I wouldn’t go out of my way when in Dallas to eat there. It was edible. I had the seasonal sangria and he had the espresso martini. Both were just okay. Mine was watered down from the amount of ice. They had dessert, peanut butter cake and crème brûlée. He didn’t taste any peanut flavor. The crème brûlée had no depth with very little crème. Festive outdoor seating area and a very nicely laid out interior.

                                                                  Food was delicious. Our server wasn’t very attentive and was definitely paying more attention to his other tables over us. For every time he would check on us, he would check on the others 3-4x more. Would have ordered more, but weren’t given the option. We will definitely back because the ambiance and food were great. I just hope we have a better server experience.

                                                                  Our Thanksgiving dinner experience was absolutely wonderful. The restaurant was buzzing with great people watching. Abundant quantities of food on our plate with to go bags for later. Our server, a young man from Seattle, was a gracious host while extremely busy. Best of all after dessert, no clean up!

                                                                  The service on a Saturday night was good. My server was training a new server. They gave good recommendations and were extremely knowledgeable and prompt. The food was mid at best. The best way to describe it would be a chilis on a bad day. Not worth the value either. Service was great food not so much.

                                                                  This was my second time going to The Finch and it was a great experience both times. We went at brunch time both times and the food and service was incredible! The espresso martini is also delicious!!! The only thing I would say is while the chicken and waffles is really good, the chicken only comes with two and they’re pretty small compared to when I have ordered it at other restaurants. Other than that, great experience and would come again!
