A bad decision to go on a Saturday night and some average food. We booked a table for 4 7.45pm. We got there early 7.30pm and "checked in" whilst getting a drink at the bar. We were told our table was ready- great! Just as we gathered our stuff we were told they'd made a mistake and we'd have to wait 10min, which was fine...
We were given menus to peruse and apologies and the offer of a free drink followed, 20 - 25 minutes late we were sat down and ordered mains, we were after a plain burger and fries, Korean chicken burger and beef ragu that came out in due course.
The plain burger had a mustard dressing on the bun, the chicken burger was over cooked and the beef in the ragu had bits of gristle in it.
Yes I know why didn't we complain when the waitress asked! It was getting late we were hungry, it spoilt our enjoyment, it didn't make the food inedible just disappointing.
We did get a free drink for the delay but weren't as glowing in good food as we normally are after one of their Sunday lunches.
We'll go again, perhaps choose wiser on a Saturday evening and hopefully have a better experience.
