    Locale consigliato da amici americani del posto che erano lì. Ambiente della sala troppo scuro. Avevamo un tavolo centro sala davanti ingresso e non si vedeva cosa si mangiava realmente. Ho ordinato la carne più costosa cottura medium rare e mi è arrivata tutta bruciata e non ottima. Siccome pagavano i miei amici non ho fatto nessuna discussione, ma da un amante della carne non lo consiglio

    we had heard about the fort steakhouse and after looking at the menu online, decided it would be a great choice for my husband’s birthday. We received lots of updates, emails and texts, which was pretty annoying but still looking forward to the event. This cumulative in our evening last night, we arrived a little early, expecting to come in, sit at the bar and have a couple of drinks while we waited for a table which would have been normal. Instead, we were told in an unusually cold evening that we were too leave and we would get a text whenever a table was ready that the restaurant was quite small and although we had a reservation, we could not expect to come in before our time. This was fairly unusual. We left, walked around the very windy streets downtown. It was not much going on as it was quite cold, but finally got a text and came in. We’re seated at the front table right by the door that opened with a curtain which was supposed to keep out the cold. All of these things made our experience very strange. As far as the food it was over complicated and some of it was interesting but an ordinarily expensive one thing I can recommend is the 11 ounce stick that we ordered. We split it which added six dollars to the price but it was the perfect amount for us, and it tasted delicious throughout the entire piece, we also indulged in their dirty oysters and we each got a half dozen. It definitely wasn’t what I expected as there was not much caviar per oyster for the price of $30 apiece. Desserts were disappointing. I’m not sure who thought it was a good idea to make a vegetable into Flan; but it was obvious that the creativity the chef needed, was being poured into every single thing which over complicated each dish we tried. The bright star that we had was in our waitress. Her name is Candace and she was fantastic, extremely professional, charming, and with great charisma. For her alone, I would give this restaurant another try sincerely sidney.

    There was three of us and we had excellent service in the most delicious food. We were not rushed at all. The place is small but cozy with some cute artwork. I highly recommend trying this restaurant if you’re in the area.

    Food and service were excellent. We were seated near the front door on a cool night and as much as they tried to minimize the cool draft when the door opened, it was still a distraction

    The steak and salmon were both great. While i didn’t catch the name of my waitress, she was exceptional. She had an excellent memory for the menu, the specials, and explanations for what each item was if a person was unsure. She was prompt, never pushy, and extremely professional. Blonde- mid 20’s to early 30’s wish I could recall. Excellent server.
