The Foundry Rooftop restaurant is located on the sixth floor of the AC Hotel in downtown Dayton. Inspired by the fire within foundries, the factories that produce metal castings, this wood-fired kitchen embraces the flame. Devour new takes on internally-inspired cuisine with our Loaded Potato Pizza and Ingot Crab Crakes, or our signature Foundry Reuben and Charred Meatballs. Hearty, midwestern favorites from Chef's David Belknap and Jason Findley anchor our menu like our Crispy Pork Belly and 24-Hour Chicken. And with a combination of smoked whiskeys, classic cocktails, and local beers, you’ll always have the perfect pairing of spirits to enhance the heat of your meal. The buffet will offer Traditional Thanksgiving Items such as: Carving Station Smoked Turkey Breast Stuffed Pork Loin Sage cream Sauce Apricot chutney The rest Traditional Stuffing House made cranberry sauce Green Bean Casserole Mashed Potatoes Candied Sweet Potatoes Fried Brussel Sprouts w/ Candied bacon Baked Mac and Cheese Rolls/ butter Dessert Stations Mini Ast pies Sticky Toffee Date Cake Pops Ast mini cakes ( pumpkin, ginger bread etc) The Buffet Times: 1pm-3pm, 330pm-5pm and 530pm-7pm

    The Foundry will be offering a Traditional Buffet for Thanksgiving. The menu will consist of Smoked Turkey Breast, Stuffed Pork Loin. Our Buffet will have Traditional Stuffing, House made Cranberry Sauce, Green Bean Casserole, Mashed Potatoes, Candied Sweet Potatoes, Fried Brussel Sprouts w/Candied Bacon, Baked Mac & Cheese. Our Desserts will consist of Mini Assorted Pies, Sticky Toffee Date Cake Pops, Assorted Mini Cakes such as Gingerbread, Pumpkin and many others. The Foundry will be offering a Holiday Cocktail Menu and Wine Bottle Specials.

      We’ve wanted to try The Foundry for awhile. My cocktail was yummy (the Pearl) we got 2 appetizers, deviled eggs and calamari. Calamari was delicious, eggs were a bit on the salty side. For dinner a couple ppl got the bolognese, one 24 hour chicken and i got shrimp and grits. Food was ok, not great not bad. Atmosphere was nice, great crowd on a Friday night.

      Food was rather disappointing. Not very creative. The smell of truffle oil from other meals around us was off putting. Clearly the chef loves truffle. I’ll eat elsewhere.

      Our server was not very attentive and barely seen. No sense of hospitality. Never write a review, but felt like I should say something here. Food was incredible!

      Our experience was muted by the fact that I finished an appetizer, salad and entree before my daughter's margherita pizza even came out. That is totally unacceptable

      Delicious food! We ordered the crab cakes and brined chicken with mushroom risotto. Both of us absolutely loved our dishes. Food came out within minutes of ordering. Noise level was on the louder side, but it was a busy Saturday night. If we’re out in Dayton again, we will definitely be back!

      First time dining here. The menu looked appealing, so we thought we would give it a chance. Once seated, it took 20 minutes before our waiter came over to ask for our drink order. We went ahead and ordered dinner as well for fear we would have longer to wait to order food. The pizza for my husband came out before the appetizer and meal for me, by about 10 minutes. Not that big a deal, just something we noticed. The food itself was good, albeit overpriced. Our waiter ignored our table after that. We tried numerous times to get his attention, but he ignored us. We asked another worker who was sweeping the floors to get our check and some boxes. She was very helpful. This won’t be a place we would come back to, unfortunately
