The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea.

The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!

Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to.

Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. Roasts run all day on a Sunday and we guarantee to make sure you will always have ample spuds, gravy and yorkies!

Très bon accueil, le personnel est prévenant et attentionné. La salle du restaurant est intimiste et chaleureuse, nous avons passé un très bon moment. Et les rôtis du dimanche sont savoureux ;)

Warm welcome, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere fab food - just the right amount of choices , something for everyone . Good prices for quality dishes All delicious and served with a smile!I I would highly recommend this gem of a country pub in the middle of the city ! See you again soon !

Thanks for a great evening everyone enjoyed it. We are diverse family , meat eaters, pescatarians and vegetarians, so the menu and food worked well. We can also bring our small hound, Ron, so it makes for a relaxed evening. Your staff need a shout out too, they’re always lovely.

Lovely female waiter. Unfortunately didn’t get name, but a credit to the pub. Wonderful atmosphere and fantastic food and drink. Will be back.

Beat Sunday lunch in London. Absolutely no peer. Must be my tenth time there, never disappoints.

Once again, The Fox & Pheasant has provided an excellent Sunday Roast! Great food, service and ambience. In addition, the staff went over and beyond and provided a small surprise for a birthday amongst our group. I look forward to returning again very very soon!
