                                      The food was exceptional. The service was amazing. The ambience in the restaurant as a whole is very quiet and chill. Great place to go a couple or take plans to experience different types of games that they may have never had.

                                      The Gamekeeper- you won't regret this evening if you are able to score a reservation. A gem of a spot nestled in the Boone/Blowing Rock/Banner Elk area. Don't be scared away by the "game" vibe. Even if this is not your favorite type of cuisine- you will be able to find something not too wild. There's aways an excellent fish dish, delicious salads and soups as well as all the game dishes. Pro tip: there's a bar area and an outdoor seating area that are first come, first served and the outdoor area is weather permitting.

                                      We had a wonderful experience! We arrived just before 7:30 and easily found parking. The staff were attentive and polite. The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the mixed game grill starter, I highly recommend it! It was our first time here and also my first time trying emu and bison, they were so good. We ordered the emu fan fillet as our entrees and it was incredible. The cocktails were delicious, as was the dessert. We can’t wait to return to The Gamekeeper!

                                      Chase was a wonderful waiter, the bartenders were kind and made great drinks, and the valet guys couldn’t have been nicer! The food was incredible and never disappoints!!! We had a delightful dinner and birthday celebration!

                                      Great overall experience! Starting with the warm and welcoming location including the Charlie at the valet to being greeted inside and sat at our table to our wonderful server Shae. All employees were welcoming and greeted us. Great Team. The food was fantastic! Wish I was able to have the recipes for the Korean Meatballs and the Potato Soup. Delicious! The entrees and the desserts were also delicious. A very memorable night was made. Thank you to all that had their part in making it that way.
