GEORGE as a restaurant in a pub or Tavern, also known as a

Food and service were both excellent! French onion meatloaf was perfection. Kate was our server, she was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu . Will definitely ne back..

Had a lovely experience at The George for a girls night out. I started with the Pink Fetch cocktail which was light and not overpowering. We ordered the tuna wonton nachos. The wonton’s were crisp and delicious. The tuna was well seasoned and nicely prepared. I could have eaten the whole plate. We also ordered pierogies which were also delicious. As a main, we split a steak, creamed spinach and potatoes. We topped it off with an apple tart and banana pudding. We all enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Service was good as well. Will def be back

Great little place. Food and service was wonderful, big bar scene. The portion sizes were huge (having our leftovers for dinner again) and some really nice seasonal specials (the smores dessert cocktail looked and smelled wonderful). Service staff was very kind and attentive. Fun music, cozy ambiance with the holiday lights. Do not go if you don't like loud and crowded - the place is small and tables are on top of each other. Would definitely go again.

For our first visit to The George we ordered from the restaurant week menu. The soup and arancini were tasty and served hot. The filet mignon was tender , and the chicken dish was cooked perfectly. Our only complaint is that the bread pudding was too dense. Service was excellent all around.

Loved the decor at The George. The pictures of famous George’s on the walls are awesome. Very authentic pub vibe inside. Food was great. Nothing fancy. What you would expect on a pub menu. Service was wonderful. Warm, friendly and very accommodating.

I saw positive reviews for The George and decided to try it on a Friday evening. The restaurant was very busy but since we had a 6:00 pm reservation we were seated quickly, and didn’t have to wait for our table. We all enjoyed a nice cocktail, the food was delicious, and the server was very attentive. With all that being said I have to say the noisy atmosphere was too much. We could not converse easily because of the ruckus and it definitely subtracted from our dining experience. I will say there was baseball mania going on, so this might have added to the craziness. Perhaps I will give it another try for lunch, when things are calmer, since other than the noise we had a positive experience.
