Chef-driven American fare, unparalleled sports viewing, and captivating entertainment intersect to create The George Sportsmen’s Lounge, or for short – The George. The concept pays homage to classic Vegas big tippers, commonly called “a George” – a nod to the recognizable portrait on the one-dollar bill. The sportsmen’s lounge features indoor dining and a vibrant outdoor patio with wrap-around LED screens that create an immersive atmosphere for sports, live entertainment and private events. Sports wagering kiosks are also available within the lounge offering convenient entertainment for guests.

Durango is a great experience. Light, clean, modern. The George is the best sports bar that I have been to on Las Vegas.

We would like to request a refund as the reservation was for a UFC viewing party but when we arrived, the football game was on with audio and we could not hear the UFC fights.

We are a big pancake fan. So we ordered blueberry pancake’s unfortunately we were disappointed, they tasted like play dough. Just not right. Ordered chicken/waffkes, banana bread, and breakfast burrito all was very good. For $12 banana bread you get two very tiny slices very pricey but good. We also ordered corn chowder soup since we love it and it was also lunch. For being 11am and soup just started it was cold. So is the soup saved from the previous night? Ugh!

20 mins after being seated we had still not seen our waitress. We stopped a hostess to ask if she could send the waitress over so we could get drinks. When she finally arrived, she said she didn’t see us sitting there which was a lie. We decided to order drinks, food and appetizers all at once to avoid any further delay in service. The food arrived hot and fresh & our first round of drinks were great. My husband sat for another 20 mins after finishing his drink before the waitress returned to see if we needed anything. In the middle of the SNF game, 1 of the 2 large screens was changed to TMZ for no apparent reason. It was not fixed before we decided to leave at halftime.

Short rib sliders, truffle fries and the tuna nachos were good. Nice size portions. Music was at a good level so you can still hear each other and carry on a conversation. Service was attentive and friendly.

Our server was slow an forgetful, except for the bill. He continually gave us an update on how much we needed to spend to meet the $300 for five people. It was irritating. We needed water, tea and beer refills as well as food orders put in, but he seemed laser focused on the bill
