   Not being from St. Augustine or ever having even been to Florida, I made a reservation based on favorable reviews and photos of the food as well as the lovely outdoor dining area. When we arrived on Friday night, the restaurant was dark, closed, with no note on the door. It was not fun trying to find another place to eat in this busy town on a weekend night. When I called the next day to ask what happened, the person who answered the phone said “It was raining.” I knew that because we had walked in the rain to get there after locating parking, but told him I hadn’t received a call or text to inform me the restaurant wouldn’t be open. His response was “it’s an outdoor restaurant “. I asked him how I was supposed to know that when I’m not from the area and his answer was only “is there anything else you want?” Well, yes, as a matter of fact an apology would have been in order because nowhere did I see in the description that the ONLY dining area is outside! Beware of this place.

   Tha ambience and live music make this place a great place to dine. The food is very good although I think their menu could use some updating. Besides that the dinner was excellent.

   GO!!!! The menu was a little confusing for us as well as others dining but once you pass that hurdle, the food is AMAZING! Atmosphere was cool, outdoors and different. It’s close to everything but it’s actually very quiet.

   Chicken satay with peanut sauce came in one piece with a glue paste with crumbled peanuts. Satay means skewers and peanut sauce should be made with peanut butter cocos milk and different spices. $24 for a dish served on a small round iron table without tablecloth and sitting in mulch. Never again.

   The setting of this restaurant is so unique. It is completely outside, no inside seating at all. It is set inside a nice garden, with lots of flowers and other plants. The menu is a bit odd. Some things are not explained very well, and the drink menu doesn't list prices. If there was any large complaint, the menu could use an overhaul. Not necessarily the content, but the layout and descriptions. We ordered a caprese salad & charcuterie tray. Both were huge, way bigger than expected based on the price. The caprese was great, and came with a lettuce salad and watermelon slices. The charcuterie tray had different types of cheese, nuts, berries, bread, and some raw vegetables. In our visit, the weather was very nice, and there was a musician playing a piano. The service was a bit slow, but the waiter was nice and generally did a good job. It made for a relaxing evening. If you were in a rush, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. Overall it was a great experience, but I'd recommend being aware of the unique setting.

   Great unknown find food made from Scratch Kitchen! Server was awesome I would suggest an acoustic guitarist verses the piano player...

   The speckled trout and shrimp etouffee were amazing. Service was great. Can't beat the ambience and setting. Perfect date night!

    The restaurant was not even opened although it said they were serving breakfast 8-10am. It looked abandoned.
