The Grand Marlin Restaurant features a main dining area with a shucked to order oyster bar, exterior North Drop Bar overlooking the beautiful Santa Rosa Sound, and private meeting rooms. This Pensacola Beach restaurant, with an air of island casualness, serves the highest-quality cuisine, including the freshest local seafood featured on menus designed and printed daily to take advantage of the local bounty. The atmosphere creates a fusion of the Caribbean and the Pensacola Bay Area. Executive Chef Gregg McCarthy has a passion for great-tasting food and particularly loves working his culinary magic with fresh Gulf Coast seafood. Boaters and beach-goers feel comfortable in shorts and flip-flops at the oyster bar, in the dining room and at the North Drop Bar. The Grand Marlin has a space and atmosphere for all occasions and is looking forward to creating an authentic experience between time and tide.

We love the Grand Marlin…Including my four little children! They are always consistently delicious with their menu and drinks, wonderful waiter staff and it starts from the top with great management! Meg is the sweetest! We are regulars and always bring our visiting guest to have a meal at the Grand Marlin!

Our server was great and very attentive. The food did take quite a long time to come out, but obviously that’s not the servers’s fault. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Food is phenomenal as is the service. Yes it’s gonna cost you a few bucks but a great date night spot!

Made reservations for our 45th anniversary. Requested a table inside, by a window. Had the best table in a quiet area. Our server, Mitchell, was incredible. Friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations were spot on! Lobster fingers, grouper piccata and seared snapper…absolutely delicious! They surprised us with a delicious praline dessert, personalized with anniversary wishes. A perfect evening!

Our waitress, Amber was excellent. Attentive and very friendly. Delicious food. I tried the yellowfin tuna for the first time. (I always get the grouper piccata.) The only suggestion is more calamari less peppers with the calamari and less soy glaze on the tuna- I should have had it on the side. But the oysters Rockefeller were the best I have ever had and my husband loved the mojo chicken.

Dinner was absolutely delicious! Our waiter Brandon was fantastic, and took very good care of us! The atmosphere was so warm, relaxing, and cocktails so yummy!

We had the lobster fries which were amazing, delicious honey mustard. Our main entree was the chef special but we weren’t overly impressed. Some of the flavors were overpowering and the gnocchi was mushy. We regretted not getting the grouper piccata which is an amazing dish. We had the crème brûlée for dessert and it certainly did not disappoint. The passion fruit cream served with it was unique and delicious. Our server was great, however, when my husband went to the bathroom he noticed one of the employees did not wash their hands after using the bathroom.
