   Got a wonderful time. The food was excellent, everybody in our party enjoyed themselves. We are looking forward to coming back again.

   Service was excellent, the wedge and onion soup were excellent, the burger was bland, the risotto was undercooked, but the scallops were cooked properly and tasted well seasoned. Prices are pretty expensive compared to similar places we have eaten in Columbus. The atmosphere was great, maybe we just ordered the wrong mains. We didn’t have time to have anything recooked as we were going to a show soon after.

   New menu at the Granville Inn and it’s really lovely. We particularly enjoyed the new cheese board, the scallop risotto dish and a baked on the spot OH Apple Pie dessert. Restaurant was super busy, but our waitress was very friendly and attentive. In the past it has seemed like some menu items were overdone or trying too hard, but the new menu is refreshed and refreshing. Really enjoyed our meals.

   We usually like this restaurant, but we’re a bit disappointed this time. Staff was friendly, but unfortunately not extremely knowledgeable. Crème Brûlée was awful. We were never asked if our meals were prepared correctly or if we were happy with them. Wine was never poured for us, which you generally see at this price-point. I guess it’s tough to find great service anywhere anymore. Disappointed.

   I was really looking forward to the murder mystery dinner with my fiance and grandmother for Valentines Day but it was not what I expected. I assumed it would be their staff acting out the murder mystery but instead they hand picked guests to play these characters. The only way to solve the mystery was to go around the room asking questions to the characters. I, of course, sat with my 80 yr old grandmother so she wasn’t sitting by herself because she certainly couldn’t walk around the room freely. Lastly, it was very hard for my grandmother and I to follow along as we could hardly hear the storyline.

   This was my first visit to this restaurant which was highly recommended by several to me. Everything was wonderful from the time we walked in until we left. Food, drinks, atmosphere, table that we requested and fire that was burning. Loved it all and definitely will return!

    We loved the ambiance of the dining area. The lunch menu had several options. We ordered sandwiches. The prime rib sandwich could've had some more meat for the price. My husband realized he should've ordered his hamburger well done. Comments by friends were that their salad was smaller than expected. Our server did a great job. It was quiet atmosphere, beautil dining room. Spending time with family and friends in this Inn was an excellent experience.
