Natalie and her team of chefs pride themselves on the taste and quality of the food from our kitchens. We use fresh, local ingredients whenever possible, offering an extensive variety of meals and snacks. See our seasonal menu.

It's good, honest, home-cooked, traditional fare of the kind most of us love to eat but that's now so often missing from the menus of many fancy restaurants.

For your special occasions or get togethers you can book exclusive use of our separate Dining Room where we can accommodate up to 30 people for a sit-down meal.

Dogs are allowed in our top bar so you are able to enjoy a meal and a drink or two with your pet. You can also sit outside in our beautiful garden anytime of the year, we have plenty of outdoor seating with patio heaters.

Unfamiliar with the area we stumbled upon the Greyhound as a half way meeting point with friends and what a hidden treasure. The pub is very cozy and the log fire was lit when I arrived at midday. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Kelly runs the pub like you are guests in her home and extremely attentive but without being bother some and always with a smile. The ambience is very warm and cozy and it looked very pretty outside too, although when we visited it was extremely cold out and we did not take advantage of the outdoor space but in the summer it would be delightful. The food was incredible.The menu was extensive and delicious. Go with an empty tummy as the portions are generous to say the least. The presentation too was great. I could not fault our visit and would absolutely recommend this to anyone. It’s not on my doorstep, it’s about an hour from where I live but I will happily return at some point, hopefully not too far in the future. Thank you Kelly.

We loved the alpine theme, even though it is only until the end of January. Food was lovely with big portions. Restaurant area was lovely and cosy. Staff were so friendly

The service was really good , staff were very helpful and couldn't fault them. The food wasn't the best . I had beef lasagne and it was very dry no sauce just minced beef and cheese on top . The chips were quite greasy. My husband had a fruity curry half & half the sauce wasn't homemade it was out of a jar . It was more of a masala sauce than a fruity sauce & again the chips were greasy . We were going to have a dessert but not a great choice so declined that . The bill with drinks came to £53 which for a bar snack felt it wasn't value for money .
