The Grill at Hacienda del Sol is one of Arizona's top restaurants located in a beautiful setting at the base of the Catalina Foothills. Breathtaking mountain and city views are captured from The Grill dining room where you will be treated to Spirited Southwestern Hospitality and a remarkable menu featuring local ingredients from the resort's own organic gardens, local purveyors, and growers.

The Grill wine list, with over 800 selections, was twice bestowed The Award of Ultimate Distinction by Wine Enthusiast Magazine and has been awarded the Best Of Award of Excellence; from Wine Spectator for 24 consecutive years.

Another group of 4 who came after were seated at a table for 4. My group of 4 was seated at a table for 8. I asked for a different table and was told "no." Frankly, we would have waited for a nicer table. But we were not given that option. With such a huge table, we could not have a conversation. This was unacceptable. The Ceasar Salad was not good. The lettuce had brown spots with the dressing hard to find. The entrees were good... but we had to wait nearly an hour cause the server told us a large group was ahead of us... even though we say others who came after us served entrees before us. We decided it best to just get out.. .so we did not order deserts and coffee. We just paid and left. The manager did NOT come by to check on us or our situation. So we concluded that we were being treated as second class citizens... maybe due to the fact that we are obvious seniors.

We loved the ambience, the service, the food. Our server Ricky was wonderful - very attentive, professional and knowledgeable.

Service was great , food was cold , plates were hot ,prime rib very fatty , salad was brown , for the money not that great , i have had better prime ribs for a 3 rd of the price

This was my fourth time eating at Hacienda del Sol in less than a month, and everything I'm in even greater awe at what a treasure this facility is to the Tucson community! Thank you to the cooks, the waitstaff, and everyone who makes this a very special dining experience every time! This consistency of quality and hospitality only happens when staff are exceptional!

The service and servers have a strong customer service and demonstrste caring about your experience. The atmosphere is relaxed. The food is excellent. Large portions.
