   The Grill has a great location in downtown LA Quinta. They have a creative menu and several outstanding salads. The tuna appetizer is a keeper too. Adding the blackened salmon to a salad is always tasty. A full bar and good beer/wine selections and fun people watching helps to pass the time. The big challenge for the Grill is pace and attention. The servers are overburdened and can't keep up with the number of tables they have to cover. Service is friendly and apologetic, but you just have to bank on being patient. The meals never disappoint, but maybe that's just because you're hungry. 😉 Still, one of our favorites, so we will always be back.

   Used to be one of my favorites. The Brussels sprouts were drowned in sauce and burned. The French dip tasted like the frozen steak ums you get at a dive bar. Just seems to be a bit off from prior experiences.

   My wife and I visited for a casual dinner on a Monday night. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and we were seated promptly. The menu offers something for everyone. We started with the baked Brie appetizer. Wow. What a treat that was. By the time we were finished we really didn’t need our entrees, which we took home with us. The best part of the evening was our waiter Fernando. He was excellent in every way.

   Our food was pretty good and our service was excellent. Prices were reasonable compared to similar restaurants in La Quinta

   rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was truly disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the service was inattentive and unwelcoming. Our server was not only slow and dismissive but also outright rude when we politely asked about menu options. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. We waited far too long for basic things like water refills and had to flag someone down just to place our order. When we brought up an issue with the food, the server responded with attitude rather than trying to help or apologize. The lack of professionalism was shocking. Dining out should be enjoyable and relaxing, but this visit left a sour taste in every way. I hope management seriously addresses the service issues here—until then, I won’t be returning or recommending this place to anyone.

   Great service! Don’t love the new presentation of the poke stack - liked the old way! Food was good! Huge portions on the fish and chips!

   We dined at The Grill on Main and enjoyed our meal. We were seated on the patio so we got to view the sunset. Our server was pleasant and helpful and our food came quickly. Our drinks were delicious. We enjoyed the restaurant’s atmosphere- it’s part of a great little area that feels like a beach town. We will be back!
