Having dinner before a show or event? 🎭
We are located directly across the street from the CIBC theater & within close proximity to several surrounding venues including the Cadillac Palace Theater, Nederlander Theater and Chicago Theater.

To ensure the dinner experience standards we pride ourselves on, please allow at minimum 1.5 hours for your reservation with us.

• For 7:00 PM shows: Last seating at 5:45 PM
• For 7:30 PM shows: Last seating at 6:15 PM
• For 8:00 PM shows: Last seating at 6:45 PM •

After these times, pre-theater guests are welcome to enjoy offerings at the bar. We look forward to making your time with us special!

Another visit and another great experience. My conference adjourned early and I showed up 30min early for my reservation, but I was greeted warmly and seated at once. This time I had meatballs and Brussels sprouts and both were delicious. Of course the restaurant has all the atmosphere I want to see in a dining experience but the service is really what stands out here. The staff will always do whatever is necessary to satisfy their guests and seem genuinely pleased to do so. Dining here was a pleasure and I can't wait to visit Chicago again.

I'm in town for a conference. While my fellow attendees grabbed a boxed lunch, I enjoyed a boneless ribeye and a glass of wine. Despite showing up alone (my colleague couldn't make it) I was treated like royalty at the Grillroom. Great food, outstanding service, and a lovely restaurant.

We had an amazing dinner. Everything was perfect ! Great menu options for my Vegan and Vegetarian girls. The steaks and pork chop were perfectly prepared! We will definitely come back!

Excellent, tender steak. I had the Brussels sprouts as a side, which were tasty but a bit salty. A bit pricey, but well worth it as a one-time splurge. Above average food and attentive service.

Me and my wife came in before going to the Broadway show of Harry Potter. We looked at the menu before dining and myself and my wife were excited to eat here because the menu had pretty much everything we liked. I started off with an Old Fashioned and my wife had a glass of wine. We ordered the Sausage and peppers, Oysters Rockefeller and French Onion Soup. I enjoyed the Oyster Rockefeller my wife not so much, she said it was too salty for her. Sausage and Peppers were ok. Bread was stale hard. I know they were pre toasted and put in a cambro. I was expecting more than just sliced peppers and quartered peppers. The French Onion Soup was a huge disappointment. Tasted like straight beef base. Just not what I’m use too with the sweet taste of sherry and caramelization of the onion. My wife and I shared a 12 oz Filet with a blue cheese crust. We both really enjoyed this and it was cooked perfectly. We also ordered the Mac and cheese which was was good as well. Our server was really good as well. No complaints there

The Grillroom was great, as anticipated. Food was delicious, with steaks tender and juicy. The Brussels sprouts were amazing.
