Hampton Social has always been a "treat" for us. A rare visit and always leaving satisfied albeit always a high tab. Today this all changed. Not sure why. Service was pretty good, no complaints, although, the server and restaurant was aware of a bday, no offer of any dessert or something complimentary. This is the first time, ever, that we didn't get any type of acknowledgement for an obvious birthday meal. And only bc of this, i asked to remove the 3% fee. Whatever that is. The bruschetta is somehow different now. The bread is soggy, and the tomatoe is sundried now, and adds zero refreshment factor. Miss the old recipe. Lobster roll, was extremely dry. We had 2 of them, and both the same. Just not as enjoyable as we remember. Clam chowder. It was heavily oversalted. Steak. We weren't able to order, they were "out". !?! It was 6pm, and the restaurant was literally dead. Host said they have been slow all day. So not sure who ordered all that steak. But again, it's not a pop up, it's a serious restaurant, that's not cheap. You should have all ingredients on hand for an entire day. Fish and chips. Delicious! Salmon. No complaints here either. Overall, just a very "ehh" experience that is usually very delicious and memorable as it's a rare treat. Paying the bill for $370 was pretty difficult for these reasons.

Service was really great. We arrived at 10 when they opened so it was really cold while we were eating and our food got cold fast because of being seated right under the vent but once the heat kicked on it was super warm with great vibes. Despite the cold food it was delicious.

The manager, Brian provided an outstanding New Years Eve experience. A very busy night but he made it clear we were priority for the moment. Our hostess, Kristina was on top of it too!!! 5 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very noisy - don’t plan on visiting while here. Wine pours are VERY small - almost looks they were running out and couldn’t finish the pour! Service and food fine but not exceptional.

Hi Micheal…thank you for your response and feedback. We pour a standard 5oz that the restaurant industry recognizes and complies with FDA, USDA and CDC guidelines. It was amazing as per usual. We sat with Alyssa and she was a bundle of joy. There was live music and it was very lovely. The drinks were fantastic we got the Coastal Experience (made it spicy). As always it was a pleasure to dine as such a wonderful establishment. 11/10

Christmas Eve, near empty restaurant. Food tasty, service outstanding. I thought the menu could use a few more options. My draft beer could have been a lot colder. Overall, pleased given the day of the year. Hats off to the dedicated staff.

Food was great as always, drinks took about half hour to show up which was fine. They had issues with the InKind gift card so I don’t recommend getting that at Costco and using it here even though they say you can. There was 18% gratuity added which was okay, but then also a restaurant surcharge? Which was a bit much and not explained. Pretty slow for a Sunday too.

We just love this place - great atmosphere great service and great food. They do that thing where they add a surcharge to the total “to cover additional costs including minimum wage” which is infuriating because it feels dishonest. If they need to charge a certain amount they should be honest and put that price on the menu. At least they had the grace to take it off when we asked them to, and as a result the waiter got a bigger tip!

Great ambiance for drinks and appetizers in my opinion. The food wasn’t as seasoned as I prefer and no condiments available such as basic salt/pepper, jelly for toast.
