The Hawthorn is a Georgian gem in the heart of Haworth, packed full of period features offering a relaxed environment to unwind with friends and family. This warm and appealing gastropub has been renovated throughout to showcase an array of local antiques including a stunning array of Barraclough clocks, homage to John Barraclough himself, Clockmaker to the Brontes, who used to live in this very building in the Georgian era.

We serve only food made using the freshest seasonal British produce and our menu changes through the weeks to reflect this.

We have a custom-made Josper charcoal grill which is the hottest indoor grill available and used by the best restaurants in the country. Cooking on the Josper ensures none of the natural moisture or flavour escapes from the food, whilst at the same time adding the distinct chargrilled taste.

Lovely crab starter, sea bass came as a whole fish which was unexpected and I ordered a flat iron steak well done but it came pink.My steak was replaced by one which was much better.The orange polenta cake was ou, delicious!

The staff are friendly and very welcoming. The food is amazing, I had ox cheek, which was incredibly delicious. The accompanying veg, were cooked to perfection. The cauliflower cheese is outstanding. Such great value for money

The food was exceptional and the staff were friendly and chatty, making our evening very enjoyable. Will definitely be returning again soon.

Went for the Sunday lunch menu. I never think you can have a Sunday lunch as good as your own, until now. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. It was a birthday get together and I was greeted with a glass of Prosecco and a birthday card. Would definitely recommend

The Sunday Lunch was fabulous, 2 x beef and 2 x cheek, staff were very attentive and plenty of sides with extra gravy. Being picky the sides were brought out 5 mins before the main plates, I would have preferred them to have been brought out together and the food on the main plate wasn't as hot as I would have liked, but it was all excellent and booked again for June. Don't normally have sweets, but 2 shared the sticky toffee pudding, 1 x cheese cake and I had a affogato delicious.

It took us months to be able to get a table here for Sunday lunch but was definitely worth the wait, the food was incredible. Starters were outstanding, followed by my main of Ox Tail Sunday lunch again outstanding, and then a wonderful sticky toffee pudding. The staff amazing, they couldn’t do enough for you. Could not fault the experience at all and will definitely be back.

Amazing food & service as usual, super friendly staff & a nice atmosphere. The best Sunday roast I have ever eaten. We have already booked again!

The setting and atmosphere were lovely. The food was beautiful and the staff could not do enough for us. We were staying in a nearby apartment and some of Main St were experiencing a power cut, they even gave us candles to take back with us! We will definitely visit again.
