I had the kale salad and it was delicious! We tried to sit inside but way too loud to visit amongst ourselves so we took a table on the enclosed patio which was very nice.

Consistently wonderful. Signature dishes, great service, lovely ambiance. The wine list could use some work at the lower and middle prices.

Our first visit to The Hideout and it won’t be our last. We enjoyed a nice lunch with good food and company. Next time we will try dinner.

Met a friend that i hadn’t seen for awhile. We both love breakfast burritos and theirs was not disappointing! Our side was a bowl of fruit that was exceptional to look at AND eat. Our wait person was very good and patient. Easy to have a 2 hour lunch just catching up. He told us to take our time all good. I can recommend this restaurant for lunch! For a Monday, they were very busy. I would recommend reservations just to be safe.

We started with the Brussels sprouts for the table. Then my husband and I each had the porchetta and polenta while our friends had the honey fried chicken. Everyone loved everything and we had leftovers to eat later. We’re interested in the chicken pot pie that was sold out before we ordered. We’ll be back!

We dined Sunday evening outdoors under the eave with a nice heater overhead. Our server was superb, paying attention to food allergies and ensuring our meals would be prepared accordingly. The pacing of the meal was so delightful, relaxed and flexible so that we could have conversation and not rush from one course to the next. Unlike other restaurants in the area, The Hideout Kitchen has maintained its high-quality food without raising prices to exorbitant levels. That's why we keep returning: excellent food and service at reasonable prices. Enjoy!

Food: Brussels sprouts appetizers arrived not caramelized but burned; 4 out of 7 of us ordered halibut which was almost inedible due to “off” taste served with an abundance of bland boiled potatoes. Two people ordered chicken pot pie. One serving arrived in a much larger serving bowl compared to the second smaller bowl. That was awkward! Pie tasted okay but nothing fabulous. Service: Long wait to order drinks and even longer to order meal. After meal arrived, waiter never showed up again until it was time to clear table. No opportunity to quietly send back fish. Once I finally got waiter’s attention, I discreetly told him that fish was inedible. He apologized, brought over his manager, who also apologized and then made things right with the bill. All of this should have happened at the beginning of the meal, when there was an opportunity for all 7 of us to eat together. I’d rather enjoy a good meal than be compensated with the bill. Overall: although I appreciate manager’s efforts to remedy our situation, we will not be going back to endure marginal food and poor service. It’s disappointing because the location and ambiance is great.

4 of us had delicious lunches. Lafayette salad, 2 grilled cheese with tomato soup and salad, tuna melt with country potatoes. Love the ambiance outdoors! Attentive service.
