                                                                                                            Arrived at 8 they sat us right at the entrance, the worst of it was we sat there for 2 hours waiting for our server but he never came. Just kept walking around us. Food was very mid. Valentine’s PreFix was a complete rip off

                                                                                                            Reservation was for 7:30, they were running very behind. We weren’t sat until 8:15, they offered us a glass of Prosecco which was nice. We didn’t receive our food until 10pm, it was dry & tasteless. My dad’s steak was undercooked so badly that he gagged on it. The servers were doing their best but they didn’t have enough staff. We have been coming for Valentine’s Day for years and I think this is our last time. It was a really poor experience that was expensive for nothing.

                                                                                                            Incredibly expensive. Not worth the cost. Service and food were good, but the prices were out of control. Better value going to Root’s Steakhouse or other high end restaurant.

                                                                                                            The setting is spectacular and we had a nice table by the window. Most of the food tasted good, but the service was bad, and not near what it should be for that price dining. My scallops arrived room temperature - not even close to warm. I had to send them back two times. It took too long for our wine to arrive and although we tried to wait, we finished our biscotti way before our cappuccinos arrived. We were hoping Highlawn could be a special occasion place, but are hesitant about going back.
