Had Thanksgiving dinner and it was my actual birthday as well. All done in class! Food was delicious! Service impeccable! Restaurant had a birthday card on the table for me and then served dessert with a sparkling candle. Thank you! Much appreciated.

Lucas an exceptional server. Appreciated Albert coming to our table to introduce himself. Sushi now among the best in NJ. Please don’t ever take the Sinatra off the cocktail menu!

What a view on this clear night! Service, from valet, hostess, coat room, food runner, waiter, table clearer between courses all were friendly, knew the answers about menu and were all professional, warm and friendly. I cannot say enough about the menu, our salads and entree followed by shared dessert were plated beautifully, seasoned to perfection, and a delicious blend of flavors. I definitely recommend this restaurant for a diverse menu that would satisfy all in your party.

onion soup was poor. pumpernickel bread (or some other tough brown bread) was used instead of french bread. oysters were not enjoyable. sushi was ok. scallops were ok as well. nothing was really good. we've been here several times and the food was great. very disappointed at last night's meal.

We are regular guest of the highlawn we simply love the place. I have to say we were very very pleased with the food and service. It was a very pleasant night.

It is always a great experience at The Highlawn. I have enjoyed every meal I have eaten there. It is the perfect place for date night or a business meal with important clients. The Highlawn is one of my favorite places to wine, dine, and entertain in north New Jersey.

Great experience. We had the Tomahawk and a nice bottle. Service was excellent amd the food was made to perfection.

We came to dinner to celebrate my husbands birthday, which was noted to multiple staff members and never acknowledged. While the ambiance was delightful and the service began well, after my husband received his soup there was an hour between its completion and our main course. We did not receive any service for that duration of that time and presumed there would be some recognition for my husband, which there was not. In spite of arriving early for our reservation, the restaurant was nearly closed by the time we left.
