The Hive is situated on the harbour edge of the picturesque Georgian town of Aberaeron. Our aim is to offer a flexible, relaxed and accessible dining area where everybody is welcome.
The Hive is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our main menu offers a range of small plates through to burgers, pies and fresh fish dishes featuring ingredients from Welsh producers.

No dogs indoors (except guide dogs)

Friendly and attentive service. catered for a member of the team with dietary requirements sensitively and helpfully. The food arrived swiftly and was utterly delicious. The eating area and toilet facilities were clean and pleasant. Well dome to the team in The Hive.

Booked table for 5.30pm thought it was 6.30pm. Rang them and they amended straight away for us. Manage to get there a little earlier. Table was accommodated. Fab food as always 5star always enjoy. Highly recommend

Lovely restaurant. Great service and friendly atmosphere. However for the cost of the food I'd of liked there to be more food, had about half a spoon full of mash and two green beans. One tiny dish of cauli cheese for the five of us (four adults and one child). The food itself was super tasty though.

Great food, puddings were enormous, staff friendly, and very efficient dudnt have to wait long for food, would definitely recommend

Really excellent Sunday lunch. Good service, pleasant staff, and great food. The nut roast was delicious.

My first visit to The Hive. Lovely greeting by the guy behind the bar. The upstairs restaurant area was lovely and quiet. The meal was absolutely delicious and plentiful. The beef was tender and vegetables cooked to perfection. I had dessert, although could only just manage it after the main meal. The servers couldn't have been more friendly and attentive. Absolute bargain, soft drink, Sunday roast, Berry Sundae and coffee for £34. Highly recommend The Hive.
