The Hollywood Rooftop Restaurant & Bar is the perfect place to escape the crowds of Hollywood Boulevard with a VIP elevator ride to Madame Tussauds brand-new rooftop restaurant and bar. Located next to TCL Chinese Theater just off the Walk of Fame, this open air rooftop restaurant and bar is the perfect place to kick back and relax with movie-inspired craft cocktails, LA’s favorite foods, and the once-in-a-lifetime chance to dine with stars.

Me and my partner had a wonderful date night and he loved the restaurant he enjoyed the box office burger he said he’ll come back. Everything was 10/10 loved the ambiance of the restaurant and especially the wonderful wax figures my partner thought one of them Was an actual person lol.

This restaurant is a must go to as the food was incredible and the service we received from Judy was incredible. She even brought us surprise chocolate covered strawberries as a surprise!

Sadly trying to book a table for 14 people for a fun venue Birthday celebration was arduous to say the least. We called the restaurant a total of 17 times as we could not book on open table for this number of people and told to call the venue. The calls were not answered and there wasn’t an answer machine. So frustrating. We resorted to booking 3 separate tables then messaging the restaurant on the app to explain what we actually needed. Finally there was a response via the app and the team were helpful in sorting out our birthday booking. Unfortunately we were the ONLY booking at 1100 on a Saturday. The food took forever to arrive, and two orders were missed. The food was cold and to add insult to injury a mandatory service charge was added to the bill. What service we asked? As a family and company we are in the hospitality business and the senior management of this establishment could really do with some help! Sorry.

We had a delightful time at the Hollywood Rooftop! The service was a tiny bit discombobulated (our appetizers came out after our entrees, for example), but staff were earnest, attentive, and friendly. The food was good! I had the ahi nachos, and they were delicious. Huge portion. We also got the garlic cheese puffs, which were great, and I had a side of broccolini which was delicious. Fun ambiance with the wax celebrities hanging out around the rooftop - and even though it’s outside they had enough portable heaters that we were comfy and warm. I would go back next time we’re in town!

Ceasars salad was partially wilted, chicken and street taco main courses were great, cheesecake was so frozen could barely eat it. Server disappeared for 20 minutes between courses, never cleared table. Drinks were ok, atmosphere was great. Would go there for drinks and street tacos only.

Nice experience overall. Quinoa salad was great. Flatbread a bit over the top with cheese and oil.
