Farm to table is a movement around sourcing locally produced food and delivering the freshest product to the consumer. At the Hook & Plow, we truly believe food that comes directly from the source will yield a more fresh and more tasty product. Our menu will be focused around all the wonderful delights that California has to offer, including lots of fresh seafood and seasonal farm fare. We will strive to be as sustainable, organic, and healthy as possible, while staying true to our California roots.

                                                        Great way to celebrate my birthday with my family! Kid friendly menu but cool dishes - happy hour was a treat! Them biscuits! and Avocado Panko crusted deliciousness! Will def be back!

                                                        Scallops were smelly and gross. Salad had no flavor. Felt sick after. Waiter was nice and drinks were good but Id never eat there again.

                                                        Great food. Love the clam chowder, the buratta cheese and peach salad and the steak sandwich. We should be more adventurous but these choices are just that good. It’s a perfect place for an evening meal

                                                        This experience was outstanding. The tuna poke and clam chowder were amazing appetizers. The cheddar scallion biscuits drizzled with honey with the blueberry lime jam were quite tasty. Unfortunately, it was all so good that we were getting full and didn’t get to savor enough of the chicken and catch of the day as our entrees, which were really exceptional! The leek cream sauce with arugula and cranberries on the chicken was delectable. The sauce with the catch of the day (pan fried sea bass) was also incredible. And I can’t forget to mention the brussel sprouts. The addition of the capers to those is quite ingenious as it adds some tangy balance to the richness of the sprouts’ glaze. Amazing. Next time I am in town, dinner here is a must!
