   Popped into Ye Olde Horseshoes for a Sunday roast and was thoroughly impressed. The beef roast was excellent – perfectly pink in the middle, tender, and full of flavour. The roast potatoes were just how I like them: golden and crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. The vegetable medley was fresh and well-cooked, and the gravy tied everything together beautifully. The Yorkshire puddings deserve a special mention – huge, fluffy, and delicious. We were seated in a cosy room that stayed cool despite the heat outside, which I found very comfortable, although my dad thought it was a bit chilly. Prices were reasonable for the quality: £21.50 for the roast, with pints around £5–£6, and a 10% service charge added – fair for the great service we received. Overall, a lovely pub lunch with great food and atmosphere. Would definitely return!

   Food was very tasty and well-presented. Staff polite and helpful. Ambience is very conducive to socialising with friends. Parking is limited and street parking nearby is impossible.

   We had a lovely family lunch in the sunshine in the beer garden. The food was absolutely delicious, and Curtis was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. The garden itself is beautiful, with comfortable chairs perfect for relaxing with a drink, as well as shaded tables for those who prefer to dine out of the sun. A fantastic spot for a sunny lunch—highly recommended!

   Lovely food, have eaten here a few times and has been constantly very good. Very friendly staff and and warm and friendly atmosphere .

   I had a rump steak and my friend had a curry. Both dishes were really tasty. The parmesan and truffle fries were really nice and something different to have.

    Tuesday lunch in the bar warmly welcomed and seated without delay and drinks orders taken … Ordered from an extensive menu, opted for the rump steak and the bacon and Brie sandwich both completely devoured leaving room to share a rum crème brûlée which was absolutely delicious. Can’t fault anything …. Great service, quality food and value for money…. Has become one of our go to places where you are never disappointed…
