Rose Garden Tea Room is set within the historic Rose Garden, the Tea Room offers an elegant and memorable experience inspired by the tradition of English tea service with a distinctive California twist.

Any party with more than 6 guests MUST call to make their reservation or email tearoom@huntington.org.
Please do not divide your party into multiple reservations, as each Open Table reservation will be treated as individual and will not guarantee adjacent tables.

Please note that visiting the Rose Garden Tea Room requires purchasing admission to The Huntington. When planning to visit the Tea Room, please purchase a separate ticket to The Huntington for the same day as your Tea Room reservation. Tickets are available at huntington.org

We have been looking forward to this tea experience for months. We were seated outside right by the employee, waiter/waitress door, tucked in a corner looking at wall. The entire time we were eating there were employees going in and out saying “door”. This greatly took away from our experience. This table should not be there. There were many other places they could have sat us. For over $200 for tea and little tea food we were greatly disappointed.

The remodeled tea room is very nice but not quite the charm as the old one. Food was okay but nothing special. Service could use some work. Our waiter was very nice but the service overall was very very slow. Hostess staff did not seem very enthused about working there.

The ambience was perfect. It was a traditional tea. We sat and conversed for more than a couple of hours. Nobody made us feel that it was time to leave. Loved the service and hospitality

We were there celebrating my nieces 18th birthday and our server Jo made her feel so special. She really made our visit to the yea room amazing.

The Huntington Tea Room provided an ideal place for my work colleague and friend to celebrate our retirement from teaching. My chocolate tea was nummy. We enjoyed our lobster rolls and our entire tea offerings. I’ll be back!

The food and tea weee very good. We really enjoyed it. We cannot finish everything, so half of food were packed. We were there on Sunday afternoon. There were several empty tables, even though you cannotmake reservations online. I guess walk-in might be available.

One of the best experiences I have ever had! Beautiful outdoor with the view of rose garden. Victoria who was so experienced by explaining the menu. The best tea. Can’t wait to go back 🙏
