Rose Garden Tea Room is set within the historic Rose Garden, the Tea Room offers an elegant and memorable experience inspired by the tradition of English tea service with a distinctive California twist.

Any party with more than 6 guests MUST call to make their reservation or email tearoom@huntington.org.
Please do not divide your party into multiple reservations, as each Open Table reservation will be treated as individual and will not guarantee adjacent tables.

Please note that visiting the Rose Garden Tea Room requires purchasing admission to The Huntington. When planning to visit the Tea Room, please purchase a separate ticket to The Huntington for the same day as your Tea Room reservation. Tickets are available at huntington.org

The ambience was perfect. It was a traditional tea. We sat and conversed for more than a couple of hours. Nobody made us feel that it was time to leave. Loved the service and hospitality

We were there celebrating my nieces 18th birthday and our server Jo made her feel so special. She really made our visit to the yea room amazing.

The Huntington Tea Room provided an ideal place for my work colleague and friend to celebrate our retirement from teaching. My chocolate tea was nummy. We enjoyed our lobster rolls and our entire tea offerings. I’ll be back!

The food and tea weee very good. We really enjoyed it. We cannot finish everything, so half of food were packed. We were there on Sunday afternoon. There were several empty tables, even though you cannotmake reservations online. I guess walk-in might be available.

One of the best experiences I have ever had! Beautiful outdoor with the view of rose garden. Victoria who was so experienced by explaining the menu. The best tea. Can’t wait to go back 🙏

Service was excellent! Food choices were more elaborate than expected with such offerings as lamb sandwiches and smoked salmon with caviar; Goat cheese and marmalade tarts, along with minced beet sandwiches. Not a deviled egg, chicken salad or watercress sandwich in sight. I would have preferred simpler fare. It was beautifully presented and we did not feel rushed in the least. Not your old fashioned Victorian setting, but a very modern approach.
