                                                Lovely old inn with cozy atmosphere and excellent pub food. Service was good. Would like to try again in warmer weather to eat in the porch.

                                                Great Tavern atmosphere but can be difficult at times to hear the people at your own table. The menu is limited but the food is very good. The wines are limited but what I did order was very good. I would recommend and would go back.

                                                A 225 y.o. beautiful old country Inn with a delightful ambiance. The quality of the food was disappointing. The asparagus was overcooked and woody which I could not eat. So I ordered a side of spinach. It tasted like it had four tablespoons of salt on it. I couldn't eat that either. I grudgingly told the waitress. She claimed she would take the cost of the spinach off the Bill but by then the meal was ruined. This is very upsetting when you take guests out for a treat.
