                                                                                  One of our favorites but we hadn’t been in a while just due to life in general. So glad we got to come back. It was every bit wonderful as I remembered. No one does a chocolate martini like they do.❤️. Food is fresh and fantastic, specials are always clever and delightful. People are so welcoming and friendly.

                                                                                  Usually love Island Hideaway...came in tonight for early Sunday dinner, had made a reservation for window table indoors: dining room was moderately busy but noise level was unusually high (music maybe a bit louder than usual?) and then we were seated at small tight table for 2 that backed up to the kitchen even where servers pick up orders so there was some added noise from the kitchen as well--and then the service was ok/efficient but just server doing their job, not the usual HIGH professionalism and friendly/engaging but not intrusive service I've previously experienced at IH ...bottom line, what was supposed to be a chance to catch up with a friend over lingering dinner turned out to be noisy, rushed, and nothing special. Meal was excellent as usual. Disappointed this time but I've had many excellent evenings in the past so will try again but will specify NOT table up against back kitchen wall--and hope IH checks/moderates their music level when noise level is already high.

                                                                                  As always specials were great. I had the Thai pistachio grouper and my husband had the seafood lasagna both were delicious. I also enjoyed the cocktail special, the Dirty Chai-tini

                                                                                  April gave us excellent service and was very attentive to our table. She was knowledgeable on the food’s allergens and made the ordering process easy. The food is always stellar, and I think the service was the star this time. Will surely be back again soon.
