   Surprisingly good food. Decided to give this place a go, as it’s pretty local and came up on both the meerkat movies and tastecard websites. Table allocated was too small for booking, but quickly rectified. Also some problems with the billing system accommodating the deals, but again problem sorted out swiftly and amicably. Sunday roasts were far better than expected (3 veggie wellingtons and one chicken), unfortunately beef was not cooked enough for one of our diners, who had requested it to be well done - but otherwise a big thumbs up. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Would recommend and would visit again.

   I had risotto, it was tasteless. The pub was very noisy.
