Lovely food. Service rather cool and perfunctory. Despite ticking birthday as special occasion, nothing was done for us.

I occasionally meet here with a friend, its a perfect halfway haunt for us The Atmosphere is calm, not showy at all, the noise level is just about right. We certainly don't dress up. We sit on a table for two, I'd recommend asking for not just a two chair table but the comfy bench with chair opposite. The table can get a bit over crowded with all the theatre that goes with a long lunch. We don't do alcohol and the cherry blossom mocktail is lovely along with the drama, we are like kids we love it. We had two. Plus a couple of bottles of sparkling water We selected items across the menu. Prawn popcorn, Edamame, Dumplings, Golden Duck (looks like the duck from Kung Fu Panda) Beef fillet, Prawn curry, Jasmine rice finished of with the white chocolate sphere with hot caramel sauce and what tasted like a Zabaglione base, more drama as it melts when the caramel sauce is served we shared, and a pot of jasmine tea. We boteh didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. We arrived at 12:15 and left about 3:00pm. Bill great value for the quality of service and including service £203.00 give a few pence or two and we tipped the lovely reception staff for looking after our jackets. Iwould like to tray the £60.00 each set menu next time miniume oof two people. Great day.

The food was quite nice but the service was lacking. I had to ask someone to take our drinks order, food order, clear the table and ask for the bill

Beautiful restaurant. Service was great. Lovely staff & very attentive. Food was just fabulous. Hard to choose what to have! We drove an hour to get there and it was worth it. Will definitely come back again.

Absolutely brilliant.. the only negative was we couldn’t eat every dish on the menu… loved every minute and the bar staff were brilliant (we sat at the bar) thanks so much 👍🏼xx

Excellent as always. Went for afternoon tea and the restaurant was buzzing. The place is one of our go to spots and always delivers. As always we have food envy from some of the other diners and hence will be back again as soon as possible.

I came here two weeks ago for afternoon tea and then yesterday we came here for my birthday. The food is delicious but we had to ask to order our drinks, and then ask to order our food. I thought this was a one of two weeks ago for afternoon tea but this also happened yesterday for my birthday. Unfortunately although the food is delicious this doesn’t make up for the slow service, considering the price of everything. It’s a shame that this has happened twice and it wasn’t even overly busy either time, we just felt a bit ignored.

Fabulous birthday experience. We sat at the bar and it was great to watch the lovely friendly extremely competent bar staff mixing cocktails. We had the premium experience and all the food was delicious. Also equally delicious cocktails. We were very well looked after by the lovely staff
