We are located in the wonderful village of Groombridge.

Just a stones throw from the iconic Groombridge Place and only a 10 minute drive from Tunbridge wells

Our is also available for hire and we have an amazing private space perfect for celebrations.

There are plenty of activities on our doorstep with wonderful walks and the picturesque Forest Way trail close. Groombridge also benefits from having Harrisons Rocks for keen climbers and the perfect cycling routes across the Ashdown Forest. If this all sounds too energetic then just relax and chill watching the cricket from our front terrace, perfect for a lazy weekend afternoon.

    Food and service is excellent. Very friendly and the Hanger Steak is a superb dish. Incredibly tasty. Cheeseboard - solid choices of cheese. The Afogato with homemade donuts was a great twist. Definitely recommend.

    We went on the Spa Valley steam railway and stopped off at the Junction for food. I would not eat here again. The pizzas were not very good. Certainly no fresh mozzarella. The chickpea and squash curry was very bland with no authentic depth of flavour and the rice was overcooked. I was a bit depressed at spending a lot of money only to see people not really enjoying their food. The chunky chips were quite nice though.

    Went for Sunday lunch and it didn’t disappoint. All was homemade and the Yorkshire puddings were excellent. The staff were very friendly too.

    March 2024 Went in the summer,very nice food. Went today, booked,6 of us,birthday. Sadly disappointed, weren't told there was no steak,,three burgers we ordered were extremely average, all the chip options we chose were really greasy. At the end of the meal after questioning the quality they said the regular chef was off. Come on guys,if you’d told me that to start we wouldn't have eaten and returned when you were match ready,poor show tbf,you must have known. Staff were good,cleanliness drinks ect OK. Landlord, you should know better. £200 poorly spent.

    The Sunday roast was excellent, I had the mixed chicken / beef and my wife had the veggie one and both were great. Our friends had pizzas which were also very good. Service was rather slow as I get the feeling they’re a little understaffed, but overall it was a pleasant experience and we’d certainly go back.

    Lovely roast dinner for Mother’s Day. Big portions of beautifully cooked food. Staff were very attentive. £20-£30 per head. Beer quite expensive £6.80 a pint of lager, but the only slight negative. Would highly recommend
