The table we had was very small. We had this table last time.. so we did this reservation online this time hoping we would get a better table than just coming in for a table.. I asked the man if we could get a bit bigger table and he said no. Even though the two tables beside us were empty and had 4 chairs.. as we were dinning a couple came in and sat in the table with 4 chairs. The other table same thing another couple.. it was just annoying that we made a reservation in hopes we would get a better table. It always so noisy in there we hoped we would be out somewhere quieter as I let the reservation know it was a date night.. We don't go to the keg often because you can't hear each other and get stuck with this mini table.. Needless to say our date was very poor as we couldn't really talk unless we were yelling at each other.. food was alright, steaks have changed there not as good as they used to be.. veggies were very under cooked.. we didn't order drinks as last time we learned our lesson about the alcohol tax. We did get non alcohol drinks.. bread and salads were good. Mashed potatoes were good. But our date was uneventful, glad that we had a gift card as this date would have been a waste of money. It was disappointing but not all bad.

Our food was fantastic and the service was very good. I do wish that The Keg would offer more premium Canadian and Australian wines by the glass instead of so many American offerings.

The Valentine’s Day service was very quick and efficient. We got seated within 5 mins and were finished eating and out the door in 50 mins.

A very nice Valentine's dinner out with hubby and so very happy I booked our reservation over a month ago as it was clearly one of your busiest nights, and our server, Sylvia was especially attentive to our needs, we'll be back!

The steaks and accompaniments were very bland in flavour. Bread and Billy miner pie was good.

4 of us decided on The Keg, for our Valentines day dinner. We have always been happily satisfied with the food at The Keg, but on this occasion it was horrible. The starters we ordered were 2 Ceasar salads that were dry and wilted and 2 calamari (1 calamari had double the amount than the other). Two of us had the 14oz prime rib, witch was supposed to be medium rare and it was very rare. There was so much fat and connective tissue that had to be cut off, it took half of the beef that couldn't be eaten. We could barely cut through it. Usually it is so tender, you can cut it with a butter knife. I felt bad because I suggested the prime rib. The other 2 dinners were steak dinners, both the same, but only one of them came with mushrooms, the other one didn't for some reason. We don't drink alcohol but we still spent $400. Of all the places we could have our hard earned money at, we're sorry we went to The Keg, the quality has really dropped off the past few years. We purposely don't by beef at home anymore, because of how expensive it is. That is why we decided to treat ourselves the a nice dinner, for a special occasion like Valentines day. Never again.

My filet minion was very good, just never seen it cut this way, but I never ordered the big piece before either. The BBQ ribs were very good also and my son loved his burger even though he couldn’t finish it all. Love the sides that come with the meal also. Still trying to get through the dinner and try the Billy Minor Pie.
