The stately looking former manor house, is set back from the road in acres of grounds surrounded by the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Our Restaurant offers an unforgettable dinning experience alongside a traditional bar and large garden area. Our Head Chef's seasonal menu draws on the rich Norfolk larder of produce, much of it sourced on the doorstep, like Brancaster molluscs and local farm reared meats using innovative and modern cooking techniques. During the summer holidays the outside bar and kitchen is in full swing from noon til late. The pub warmly welcomes families and children have their own menu and the safe, enclosed garden and play area is perfect for youngsters to let off steam. The 4 guest bedrooms offer stylish relaxing ensuite accommodation, perfect for a special getaway, overnight stay or weekend break (dog friendly).

                                            A wonderful evening and a wonderful atmosphere. We sat next to the large log burner. Great for a cold evening.

                                            Lovely homely place nice touch as was friends birthday with a chocolate brownie. The fish pie came with no veg, I think when its a set menu price sides should be included.

                                            My wife and I agreed that the grilled chicken was one of the best dishes we had enjoyed recently. It sounds a very boring dish but this was far from the truth! The chicken was delicious and very moist. It was served with spinach, matchsticks of bacon, pearl onions galore mushrooms and just enough sauce! The grilling process had seared the skin nicely and not caused the chicken to be remotely dry. If it’s still on the menu when we visit again - we will probably be totally boring and order it again. Our compliments to the chef!

                                            The food was disappointing. I wouldn't eat there again but I would have a drink in the bar or garden as the pub itself is in a beautiful area and the pub is lovely.

                                            Staff were amazing - nothing too much trouble. We had a 2 year old with us and they were fantastic

                                            Really lovely food and service. Our 3rd night of north Norfolk pub dinners and this one was easily head and shoulders above the others.
