A warm welcome from our team will greet you at The King's Head. Once inside, you can expect a cracking pint, a glass of lovely wine or a G&T at the bar, along with some delicious classic British dishes from the kitchen.

The pub is much bigger than it seems. To the pub's rear is a charming dining room, lovely outside seating, and a grassed beer garden.

Booked breakfast for Christmas Eve, pub was quite with a lovely open fire on which was perfect for the cold morning. Breakfast was very good and great service. Will certainly be returning again soon

The Sunday lunch was the best I’d had at any restaurant recently The service was faultless with great attention from all the waiting staff I would recommend it and will certainly be going back again

Had a very enjoyable experience at our Christmas lunch. Table was pleasantly dressed and not cramped. Table service was polite and attentive, but not OTT. Food was delicious, hot, and all served together (5) Nothing to complain about, and feeling very full as we left, which can't be a bad thing 😁

Welcoming pub with good food selection, tasty and very good value as £12 mains on a Tuesday. Very busy but good atmosphere and attentive but not intrusive service. Will be back.

Our 4 roast meals today were greatly enjoyed, chicken x 2, lamb and pork, all of ample amounts and on hot plates with extra gravy provided. Puddings...ice cream, creme brulee, 'boozy' tiramisu and ice cream sundae also delicious. Will call in during the week to pay for the drinks which had been missed off the bill!! Peter K

The food was delicious, always excellent burgers, and the butternut squash red Thai curry was outstanding.

We had a lovely Xmas meal at the Kings Head. The flavour of the food was excellent and everything on the plate well balanced. The cranberry and orange sauce was delightful.
