Our experience was great, as always. Made reservations and was seated immediately. Waitress was very attentive. Food was prepared as ordered.

We ordered from the Queen's Feast menu. My wife had the goat cheese appetizer, French onion soup and salmon. The salmon was huge and enough for two people. I had the bacon wrapped scallops, Caesar salad and strip steak. The scallops were fresh and nicely prepared. The drinks from the bar were every good. Great table service. We will be back for one of their Monday night specials.

Delicious! Food seasoned and cooked to perfection. Our server was delightful and very attentive. She helped with suggestions and was very busy but very capable. We always felt like we were well taken care of. We are already planning our next visit. We learned to follow the little white signs for overflow parking. We also tried some signature cocktails also with dinner and were very impressed. This location was much closer to Mint Hill / Charlotte than we first thought. A drive away from any city traffic, a total win, fantastic food, impressive staff, great place to hold a conversation - all win-win-wins! Nicely done, The Local Room!, nicely done!!

This was our third visit. Food is always great but service is hit or miss. I specified birthday as occasion on the on-line reservations. The front house staff never even inquired as we were seated. Our waitress let us look at empty water glasses and dirty, empty plates well after we finished. Finally, another gal came and bussed the table. What was amazing was the amount of wait staff the looked at our un-bussed table and walked right by. Nothing torpedoes the old tip $$boat quicker than empty drinks and looking at our finished dinner plates for 25 minutes... The redeeming part of the evening was the Brit Charlie fellow who engaged us. Not sure if he was the manager or owner but he seemed sincere about what was going on. Good chap.

Great food and service. It is a little loud with the bar in the center of the restaurant, but not too loud. Everyone working there were very polite, kind and helpful. Scallops wrapped with bacon….delicious!
