Nice big pub with plenty of outdoor seating, the service was good and the food good also.

We specifically chose Locke for the live Irish music and dance. The performers arrived late but left on time. While the two on the instruments played most of the time they were there, the one Irish dancer only got up 2-3 times to dance for portions of songs. Wasn’t very impressed.

Despite booking a table 6 weeks in advance & reconfirming a couple of days before by text - there was no record of our booking. Shown a table off the main area, where the live music & dancing was to take place - not happy. Eventually shown a table to enjoy the atmosphere. The food was tasty, a good range of beers & spirits.

Grilled plaise fish in lemon butter was great. Garlic potatoes were a treat. Pan sauteed sea bass special was also very moist and delicious. Sticky toffee pudding a decadent treat.

Thanks for a great meal - friendly service and lovely food. Live music and dancing just started as we were finishing up - but would be great to stick around for that too next time.
