We wanted to enjoy some dinner and drinks before a show. Arrived at 5:30pm, thinking we had plenty of time before 7:30pm show. I had to flag down staff to order our drinks, which didnt come for over 20 minutes. I went up to the bar to follow up on our drinks and asked that someone please come and take our food order. 45 minutes later, I had to then also follow up our food. We had to eat in a hurry and only made the show (at His Majesty Theatre next door) with moments to spare. Food and drink were nice, however the service was slow and staff had to be flagged down to take orders.

Our server appeared to forget that high tea includes tea, and I had to chase him after the food had all been eaten to ask if we could have our tea please. When it arrived, it was with teabags (disappointing for the cost and given that it’s a 5* restaurant). Stemware has crumbs inside - had to ask for a clean glass for sparkling wine. Menu said clotted cream was served with scones, but arrived with thin runny cream.

The service was very poor. We had to wait for over an hour for our food as there was only 1 waitress serving us. We asked for another round of teas & coffees and had to wait for half an hour for them. One of our friends did not end up getting her tea! The food was average too and not worth the money at all. Unfortunately it was not a good experience for us and we will not be going back.

Food was excellent, but what really made our high tea, was the lady who served us. I have forgotten her name but she had short black hair and I think was the manager. She is quality.wpuld def so high tea here again. The only small negative was the area we were served I was a bit tight for room

Really lovely traditional night tea with a twist. Beautiful venue, but the best part was Lucy our waitress who was delightful and couldn’t do enough to ensure we enjoyed ourselves.

The high tea was average (not terrible but not memorable) however the ambiance made up for this - the rooftop bar and outdoor deck is a beautiful area to sit and while away the afternoon. Coffee was excellent. Staff were lovely.
