   We haven’t eaten in the Charlestown Longstore for a while, usually eat at the Truro location, the food and service was first class, the ambience slightly different to Truro as Charlestown is one larger room but the buzz is just the same, people enjoying a really good dining experience. For my money it can’t be faulted. Brilliant.

   Down in St Austell on my wife’s surprise birthday weekend and someone at the hotel suggested we should visit The Longstore. So I booked it and we certainly we not disappointed. Beautiful venue with a great atmosphere. The food was exquisite - you get what you pay for. Highly recommend!

   Amazing food!! We went to The Longstore in Charlestown for my daughter’s 17th Birthday and the staff were super accommodating. Definitely our most favourite restaurant. We all had such a lovely evening, thank you xx

   During my recent visit to the Longstore, I was truly impressed by the exceptional quality of both the food and the service. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, attentive, and efficient, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.

   A bit too dark, I like ambiance but I couldn’t really see the meal very well. Each dish needed a slight extra garnish as a bit too stark. But tasted good it was lacking in the slight extra garnish

   Tea-ramisu - No thank you! A good scallop starter, followed by a tasty sirloin steak & truffled mac, and then the weirdest dessert I've ever tasted. TEA flavoured tiramisu so dense you could build houses with it. Horrible. Defo more 'put me down' than 'pick me up'. Moral of the story: don't screw with tiramisu!

   The place is really nice, lovely decor etc. the food was really nice and a fair price for the adults menu, I do feel the children’s menu is overpriced for what it is. We had our three little ones with us and their food and drink came to over £50.

   We were a table of 6 seated furthest away from the kitchen. There was a constant cold breeze coming through from the stairs. Kept coat on throughout meal! Meal itself was lovely but a long wait (over an hr) for it to arrive from ordering. Service was not great.

    Was an ok experience although some specials were not availiable. The food was nice but could have been hotter. The service was OK but servers were friendly. There was long waits between courses
