A traditional pub serving contemporary English food in the heart of Fitzrovia. The Lore is composed of The Pub on the ground floor, The Kitchen on the first floor and Private room with bar on the top floor.

All of our food is freshly prepared by Head Chef Michal Kaszuba and his brigade in the Lore kitchen on the first floor. Our menus have been created especially to reflect the seasons, when ingredients are at their very best.
Our legendary Sunday roast is slow-cooked with delicious trimmings.

THE PUB
A copper and pewter topped bar serving a range of beers, including our very own Gritchie brews, premium spirits, cocktails and selected wines. The walls are adorned with eclectic and original artwork.

THE KITCHEN
Open plan but still intimate. Experience the sight and sound of our open kitchen with the Chefs cooking on our bespoke, charcoal fuelled oven and char-grill.

THE PRIVATE ROOM
A wonderful private room with private bar on its own floor.

What a lovely Sunday lunch great service not stuffy or too posh, sublime roast lunch platter and desserts. Great value for the amount of food and staff exemplary ! Booked to come back in two weeks time

Pros: beautiful, cosy pub with a great pork belly roast, great beer/ cider list. Cons: service was either really lovely or a little bit unfriendly but overall inconsistent, sticky toffee pudding wasn’t great.

Lovely Sunday lunch with friends and our 9 year old daughter. Everyone had a great time. The service was lovely and the tall chap with the glasses (I didn’t get his name) was a credit to the whole place. The beer was great. The food was outstanding. If I lived 70 miles closer this would definitely be my local. We will return! Thank you all

Such a lovely evening! The food was just incredible, particularly the venison tartare, pork loin and beef cheek. Just amazing. Such lovely staff who were always ready to help and even treated us to a complimentary pudding for our special occasion! The Guinness was also a major highlight. Huge fun sitting near the bar upstairs and watching the cooks create everything. Can’t wait to come back again, thank you for looking after us so brilliantly!

Busy lunchtime upstairs where all the eating was, quiet in the pub bit below. Great food and staff very attentive but not over bearing, overall decent experience.

Definitely one of the best roast dinners around! I had booked this over 6months in advance due to it being so busy and it was worth the wait. The pub has a really good vibe, the food was outstanding. The staff who were behind the bar and who also served us at our table were very lovely. I will definitely return and highly recommend this place.

Food was outstanding, service was great, staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming which is the reason we keep coming back , it's our favourite pub in London
