Cute place in Old St Charles. Chicken Sandwich, Chicken salad and chicken wings all good. The salad was greens and dressing - not at all exciting. The burger had a 'blob' of cheese on it (cheddar?) if it wasn't for the congealed blob- it would have been good. Service was good and friendly.

We celebrated a birthday! The server Malinda was attentive and gave us a flower less chocolate cake with a candle! Service was excellent. The food chicken sandwich salad was delicious. However it took 45 minutes from the time we ordered and due to weather we were the only two people having lunch…

Love this place!! This history of the building plus the very yummy food and wonderful staff make it a great dining experience. 2nd time eating there in a week. Sat in the bar area the first time and the dining room the 2nd. Both were enjoyable spaces.

The Main House is a lovely restaurant. great decor, cozy, intimate and quiet. The food was delicious and very well presented. We will definitely return to The Main House.

The filet mignon and chicken Risotto were incredible. The ambiance was superb as well as the service. It was the perfect romantic dinner for my wife and I.

Great food and we love the atmosphere. My husband got the pork chop and said it was amazing. Most of the time I get the filet, but today I got the hamburger. Both are fantastic but I was in the mood for comfort food tonight. This is our favorite date night spot!

We had an excellent dinner at The Main House. It was a snowy evening but it was still relatively busy. We were seated promptly in the booth we requested, and greeted warmly by our server. We started with a couple of Old Fashions and they were very good. Wedge Salad was excellent and big enough to share. My wife had a filet and I had the beef tenderloin. Both were excellent! Buehler Cabernet paired well and was a good choice. The Chef/Owner stopped by to make sure all was well which we always appreciate. Jordan did a great job as our server! Indoor space is beautiful and very well done. Look forward to returning soon!

Food was good…a little high, and light on the lobster in my ‘lobster’ risotto. Steak cooked nicely. Could not get hot broccoli with my wife’s dinner on 1st 2 try’s. But they got it right on try #3, and we got an explanation. Enjoyed the experience on NYE. The blackberry lemon drops were terrific…wish the vodka in the lemon drop was a bit better quality…🤷🏼‍♂️

My husband and I went there for New Year’s Eve. It was our first time visiting the establishment. The ambience was wonderful. The service was great. The food was awesome. I would definitely give us a 10 out of 10. We plan on returning again soon.

The restaurant was very cozy. Friendly staff - our server was very helpful. Food was great. I highly recommend the wedge salad. Beef and cheese sandwich and burger were terrific. The gooey butter cookie and ice cream for dessert was awesome. We will be back with bigger appetites next time.
