My husband and I went there for New Year’s Eve. It was our first time visiting the establishment. The ambience was wonderful. The service was great. The food was awesome. I would definitely give us a 10 out of 10. We plan on returning again soon.

The restaurant was very cozy. Friendly staff - our server was very helpful. Food was great. I highly recommend the wedge salad. Beef and cheese sandwich and burger were terrific. The gooey butter cookie and ice cream for dessert was awesome. We will be back with bigger appetites next time.

The food and service were outstanding. The oysters are delicious, and the steaks are fantastic. Our new favorite restaurant is Main House.

It was New Years dinner. My wife and I both got filet. We like our steaks different. Her rear me more done. Well again like I told the waiter mine was like hers. Also the food was not hot. Luke warm. My wife does not like having a scene so No did not said anything. Will we go back she probably will but I will be very reluctant too.

We had an excellent friends dinner at the main house last night. The staff were accommodating and gave us a special table so we could visit among our group. Server was fantastic and meal was delicious. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at The Main House. The service was great, and the food fantastic! We both had the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection and melted in our mouths. Cozy, warm ambiance - a great place to enjoy a special or every night dinner.

Third or fourth visit to this location, the first when it went by a different name. Maybe because it was Christmas Eve and very busy it impacted the experience since this was the least impressive. The best part of the evening was the service provided by “Gina L” (GiGi). She was beyond fantastic! Most of the food was acceptable. The onion soup could have been better. The broth was pretty thin and felt more like chicken soup broth. It was also lacking the loads of cheese topping, typically flowing over the edge of the bowl. Two of the guests with me ordered the pork chop. While one’s was hot, the other’s was very noticeably cold to the touch. What was even more curious was the rest of the items on the plate were warm. How’s that even happen? Gigi did take it back and have it warmed to satisfaction, but that meant one person not eating with the rest of us and finishing later. My seabass (special) was also cold, but at that point I didn’t really want to cause even more complaints since the group I was with were trying to enjoy a nice Christmas Eve experience. In addition to it being cold (or maybe because of?), it was also rather rubbery and not flaky as one would expect. Even with all the above, I’d have no issue returning if ever in town in the future. It’s not been uncommon for me to see “less than normal” experiences at many places over the holidays.

Truly wonderful Christmas Eve dinner. Food was superb and service was excellent. We will be back again.

Overall, food was very good. Filets and tenderloins were especially tasty. Lobster risotto special was an expensive disappointment.
