   Beautiful restaurant tucked away on a quiet street. Greeted by the staff immediately upon entering and they remained attentive during the night. Food service was a little timely but I can’t really fault that as there only appeared to be one head chef and assistant. The food however was absolutely delicious. Partner said it was the best fish he’d ever eaten and my linguine was just the right level of chilli with massive prawns. If I’m back down in East Ballina we will definitely return.

   The most amazing place with very welcoming & engaging staff. Loved the ambience. The menu was fantastic with the food being sublime. Definitely be back.

   The food was quite exceptional! Great location and ambience . Go early for happy hour in the courtyard. Service could be better.If you do that, it would, in my opinion,be one of the best restaurants in the area.

   Excellent food. Beautiful setting. It was our anniversary and we were asked at the time of booking whether it was a special occasion- it was! But no mention of this so wondered why the initial question.

   It’s the perfect place for an intimate meal, Chef Mitch puts out an outstanding menu , wait staff were friendly attentive and energetic we couldn’t have asked for more.

   We had a really wonderful evening. We sat on the front balcony - the noise level was fairly low, the lighting was nice and we had freshvair andva cool breeze. We were decided that we'd enjoy the evening and had a good catch up, so it didn't matter too much that the service was particularly slow. To be fair, I think this is not the norm. The waitress, we overheard, was still in training, and others, we observed, received their meals in good time. When I spoke up we received apologies, but even so, after ordering, the meal was slow. The meal was delicious and given our mood and conversation, and some very nice wine, it was worth the wait. I must add that the young waitress was lovely, and we also really liked the drinks waiter. He was honest about his areas of not knowing, friendly and pretty attentive.

   Loved our dinner. The oysters with the pineapple, ginger, mint & granita were amazing. Totally recommend these. Mains were really good, my choice of the Seafood Medley was perfect. Would totally recommend trying it.

   Thanks to the Ballina Manor for helping my family celebrate a lovely birthday evening for my wife. The service was absolutely amazing from the moment we stepped on to the verandah. The drinks were perfect, the meals were mouthwatering, and we were never rushed or over served in any way. Coming from a background in good old five-star hospitality in the 80's and 90's (when one person could wait on 5 tables at a time, never miss an order, able to remember more than 5 drink orders and deliver them in a respectable time and ensure the clients were kept very, very comfortable) we were so happy to see this same level of hospitality in such a beautiful, ambient establishment. There is no other establishment that comes within a whisker of Ballina Manors experience and location in the Northern Rivers

    We had a wonderful experience the food was excellent and the staff were attentive,extremely helpful and friendly. Would absolutely recommend anyone to enjoy the experience.
