Locale un po’ datato, ma vista veramente memorabile, sei praticamente sulla spiaggia. La cucina è molto lineare e pulita.Unico neo che mi impedisce di dare la massima valutazione è il posto che mi è stato dato.Prima in un salottino dove nemmeno ci entravo e distante dalle vetrate, nonostante avessi chiesto al momento della prenotazione un tavolo con vista.Poi sono stato spostato in un tavolo che aveva solo una piccola vetratina come vista.Prezzi anche se più elevati rispetto alla norma, in linea con la location e soprattutto con la qualità del cibo.Ci tornerei volentieri, solo però con un tavolo adeguato....

We were very disappointed that we booked a reservation a month and a half in advance for a special occasion at 4:30pm and given a poor seating arrangement and told we could not be seated elsewhere...

My wife and I went for a date night and had a “good” overall experience. We arrived 15 mins early and went for a drink at the bar. The bar had a great selection of cocktails, spirits, and wines. I went with the waygu infused old fashioned (interesting yet good) and my wife went with a glass of cab. She loved hers. We were seated at a window seat with a beautiful view of the water. Our waitress was great and very knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered the poblano risotto (chef’s kiss, a must order, best dish of the night) to start. We had to ask twice to get their signature bread (disappointing at this level of a restaurant) and didn’t get it until after we finished our orderve. Our mains were the locally sourced blue fin tuna and diver scallops. Both were exceptional! We also went with the artichoke and mushroom a la carte sides. The mushrooms were very good but we weren’t very impressed with the artichoke. It was hard to eat and didn’t have the depth of flavor the other dishes had. We noticed that all the tables around us were getting palate cleansers from the chef. We never received one. For dessert we went with the spindrift cappuccino cobblestone pie. Although good, it was ice cream in a pie crust. We were confused at the “pie” aspect of it. The sauce on top was great. We also never received a refill on our drinks until after the bill was paid. We had to ask. Overall the food and experience was a 6.5/10, but for the amount of money we spent we felt the service in areas lacked and a few dishes were lackluster.

Expectations were definitely high for this dining experience. Our family of three thought it was off to a great start, the ambiance and view was wonderful. Things went off the rails with our main server. The service team without our main server was terrific. Unfortunately our server was very rude to our daughter (acting like she wasn’t a part of our dining party). We have been to many wonderful and acclaimed restaurants. The mark of a great experience is of course the food, but always the service makes it feel like an event. Tough to recommend this experience for families.

Server was kind, but pretty basic level service. Food was NOT worth the money. Lobster was $185 and rubbery, I couldn’t cut through it with a fork and knife no matter how hard I tried. Short rib ($70) was very very dry. Lots of cartilage and shell pieces in the crab. Filet was cooked perfectly though, and the side mushrooms were great. Besides that, wouldn’t come back for a meal again. If you want to enjoy the view just grab a $30 drink at the bar… but be prepared to be shortly greeted by a rude hostess and told you’re not allowed to look out the window while you wait 15 minutes for the reservation you were on time for.

Food is good, but service is poor. We reserved in dining room rather than in lounge. The waitress doesn’t want to correct the mistake even she realized she made a mistake. We asked her about it but she just gave us very non logical and dishonest answers. Services like such way are really sabotaging the image of Marine Room.

Our experience was one of a kind. The food was delicious, and the service was attentive without being over excessive— great balance. Everyone was helpful and kind. I wish I can give more than five stars. Being disabled, I was advised of the best routes to avoid steps but not “supervised” as disabled people sometimes are. Terrific evening all around.
