Dine in the AA 2 Rosette Linen Fold Panelled Restaurant, where you can enjoy the ambience of the large restaurant, the cosiness of The Dr Syn Dining Room or the privacy of the Boardroom for your evening meal, lunch and breakfast.

Head Chef Drew King is focused on using quality, seasonal, local ingredients and cooking them perfectly. He has a broad range of experience having worked in Michelin Star restaurants. and is able to adapt to the requirements of the guest and the occasion.

Please note dogs are not allowed in the Restaurant. Bookings are for the Restaurant only. We do not reserve for The Bar and outside seating areas.

A perfect choice for “Mother’s Day” lunch. The food was outstanding (fish and roast meats), and the service was “world class”. The Mermaid is a real favourite of our family, and it keeps getting better and better. We will be returning again very soon!

The attention to service here is high. The food is every bit its equal. Fabulous food and in an amazing setting. In consideration of everything that you are getting at the Mermaid it's exceptional value for money. If you stay at the hotel and have breakfast as well. You will be delighted. Over all do yourself a favour and have a bed and breakfast at the Mermaid, it's just great❤️

Staff were brilliant, food 50% of table loved it / 50% found it too salty but that was the dish so think was more individual taste than any issue. Brilliant place and would recommend.

We had a such a lovely evening at the Mermaid. The food was amazing, lots of choices and absolutely delicious. The staff were attentive from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. They all knew the menu and were able to give good recommendations. The whole restaurant had a great feel to it. Would definitely recommend.
