The Dining Room is an elevated cuisine experience that overlooks Central Park, with a focus on local and seasonal ingredients. We locally source our ingredients from farms within a 150-mile radius of The Met. Entrance to the Museum and The Met Dining Room requires a ticket or Membership card. Window seats can be requested but are not guaranteed.

Vista spettacolare. Una pausa culinaria durante la visita da apprezzare. Cibo buono. Peccato che arredamento e pavimento ricordino la sala di nave. Il locale rifatto sarebbe top.

The butternut squash soup is excellent. So are the short ribs main dish and the hazelnut mousse.

The poke salad with white ponzu is OUTSTANDINGLY DELICIOUS, ight and bright. The pear tart with pear sorbet tasted like spring on a cold day! And, Michael, our phenomenally personable waitperson could not have been more personable. We had a lovely experience in a lovely dining room.

As always, the crab cakes were wonderful and the Parker House rolls the best we've enjoyed for years.

Great view, great service, great food. Pricey but it’s NYC and it’s in the Met. So expected. Wouldn’t do it every time but a nice treat.
