We’re an independent, family-owned bar and restaurant located in the heart of Penyffordd, North Wales.
Our menu is focused on modern, seasonal dishes using only the freshest ingredients and local produce. All of our dishes are made to order and we offer dining both inside and outside on our terrace.

We had a table for 9 for my mum's birthday (5 children 4 adults). They made the necessary changes to the 3 children's roasts as requested which was great. I had the butternut squash curry as had had it before and it did not disappoint. Roast dinners were all lovely, just my daughter found the beef to tough to eat and one adult found the broccoli to hard but overall the food was great. The service was a bit lacking. Overall very friendly and polite but didn't check if we needed drinks etc so felt like we were having to ask all the time for a drinks top up or anything extra that was needed e.g sauces, different cutlery, paying the bill. One waiter looked like he would rather be anywhere else other than there as he brought out our food. Just a little bit of a smile or to pretend to be a bit happier would have been nice. I think to get 5 stars from me the service would need to improve as it wasn't a full sitting and there were several members of staff

Food as always was so good. Good portion sizes and very tasty, fresh and hot. Staff friendly, attentive and helpful.

The food was very good and tasty. I was really impressed with the quality of the starter and the main meal. It was a bit more expensive but well worth it. I will definitely be going back there again soon as I really appreciate good quality food

Really nice meal had the festive turkey roast my daughter had the sirloin steak,love this place so nice with the Christmas decorations up as well.service was really good and very friendly

The food at the Millstone never disappoints and tonight was no exception. Wonderful burgers and fish pies, excellent festive Xmas pudding and chocolate log & crumble. And all served with a smile. The ambience is great and it was the perfect location for catching up with friends.

We had wonderful service from start to finish all staff were attentive and polite. The new menu for Winter was great plenty of fabulous choices, plus the addition of the Christmas / Festive Menu. There was nothing left on our plates so that says it all , all the food was beautifully prepared and presented and every element was delicious . We love eating at The Millstone

Never ever had a bad meal here! Staff are so wonderful and friendly! The atmosphere is warm and cosy and super relaxed! Would highly recommend to anyone!

Lovely place, the waitress was so helpful and respectful 😊 food was lovely really enjoyed it and we will definitely be going back Thank You All at The Millstone 😊
